KIVA is growing, at a tremendous pace!


I was trying to give some more to KIVA, but they have been swamped with national attention due to Oprah's show, Clinton's new book, and some attention in the media. Hopefully some more Americans will jump on the bandwagon and invest in others futures.
Teresa is an 18 year old artisan. She is married and has one son. She works as an embroider of blouses, wallets and pillows. She sells her work in San Cristobal and in other communities that are closer to where she lives. She is part of the group Espina 7, togehter with doña Andrea Díaz Gómez (artisan) ,doña Maria Hernández Hernández 1st (artisan) y doña María Hernández Hernández 2nd (artisan) . They will invest this loan into purchasing threads from various colors for their artisan work.
